Blanc de Blancs 4 grams dosage. 2016, reserve 2015-2012This "Grower Champagne" wowed for less the typical acid/ mineral only aroma set of Pierre Gimonnet's Cuis Premier Cru and mor e for its fun mix of fruit, minerality and cream notes. The bottle we tasted was based on 2016 with a reserve drawn from 2012-2015. The nose opens with a clean minerality with just there suggestions of nectarine, cream and preserved lemons. The palate is light and focused with a wonderful upfront cream, apricot preserves, preserved lemon, and an acid core that calls to mind wet river stones.Disgorged May 2021 Show more
