This is a PDF knitting pattern. This top-down sweater is knit with Walk Collection’s Merino DK yarn. The knit purl textures are simple and fun to knit as you fade four colours together. This pattern would look equally radiant in one solid or semi-solid colourway. Eyelet yarn overs shape the yoke as you knit simple textured stripes, seed stitch, knit/purl triangles, and twisted ribbing. Customse the length of the body and sleeves by knitting more textured stripes for a longer size or simply bind off early for a shorter length. Near the end of the yoke, start fading colours A & B together by working 2-round stripes with each colour. Work with colour B on its own. Stripe colours B & C together for 2 rounds each. Work with colour C on its own when you reach the middle of the body. Stripe colours C & D together for 2 rounds each after you pass the middle of the body. Finish the body and bottom ribbing with colour D on its own. As you fade colours for the body, save some yarn for the sleeves so you can try to match your colour transitions between the body and sleeves. Fade the sleeves to match the body.
