Its structure creates beautiful chatoyant flashes that can appear to move across the surface as the stone is turned, with tones ranging through deep blue, smoky grey, bronze, gold and earthy brown. Often nicknamed the “Tempest Stone”, Pietersite is known for its dramatic appearance, with colours and fibres seemingly swirling together like a storm captured within the stone. Metaphysically, Pietersite is associated with intuition, inner strength, transformation and finding clarity during periods of change. It is often connected with both the Third Eye and Solar Plexus Chakras, bringing together insight with the confidence to act upon it. Polished into little spheres, every piece reveals its own completely individual patterning and flashes. Tiny spheres with a surprising amount going on inside them... Pietersite certainly doesn't need to be big to be interesting. 💙✨
