Develop Your Core & Posture Fire up your stabiliser muscles and challenge your core with the Core Balance Small Pilates Ball. Designed with a diameter of 23cm, the small inflatable ball can be used partially or fully inflated to add instability to your workout or improve your posture during yoga and Pilates./// Extra-Thick & Anti-Burst Design Our small Pilates ball is made from soft, anti-burst PVC which is abrasion-resistant and extremely tough under pressure. If it gets punctured, it will slowly deflate rather than bursting. Always ensure your workout space is free from any obstacles to reduce the risk of punctures. Anti-Slip for a Confident Workout Our small Pilates ball has a mottled anti-slip surface to keep it in place and enjoy a confident workout. Its anti-slip design stops it sliding beneath your weight and makes it extra grippy when pressure is applied to it, such as squeezing it between your thighs during a hip or glute bridge. Large 200kg Weight Capacity With a diameter of 23cm, our small Pilates ball is a lot smaller than our regular gym ball which has a diameter of between 55cm and 85cm. This doesn’t make it any less tough. Despite its size, it can comfortably support a max weight of 200kg (a huge 39 stone) without bursting. Inflation Tube for Easy Inflation The Pilates ball includes an inflation tube for easy inflation. Simply insert the tube into the inflation hole, then blow into the tube to inflate it. Once inflated, insert the plug to prevent air escaping. A plug removal tool allows you to easily deflate the ball and take it on your travels. Free from Phthalates & Harmful Compounds Like all Core Balance products, our Pilates ball has been fully tested to ensure the lowest possible reading of toxic chemicals. All materials are free from phthalates, carcinogens, and short-chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs), so you can rest assured it’s safe to use. Using your Pilates Ball for Exercise Because the ball is unstable to sit, lie or lean on, it’s great for challenging your core whilst performing crunches and other exercises. Squeezing it between your arms or legs during certain exercises can also improve your body alignment to sculpt and tone your muscles. Using your Pilates Ball for Yoga & Pilates Practising a yoga or Pilates pose? Our small Pilates ball is great for bridging the gap between your body and the floor to improve your flexibility and balance. You can also squeeze it between your hands and legs when performing a pose to enhance your body alignment. Using your Pilates Ball for Physiotherapy Pilates balls are highly recommended by physiotherapists, especially if you suffer from lower back problems where strengthening your core and improving your posture can help you on the road to recovery. Always consult a qualified physiotherapist before using exercise equipment.
