It fastens up the front and at the sleeve cuffs with small buttons. Worn over the shirt, the warm doublet features loosely fitted sleeves topped with a sleeve cap. The fitted bodice has a two-piece peplum at the waist and buttons down the front with a tight row of eight buttons. A neat little falling band ties on at the neckline adding a subtle decorative element that also protects the doublet from wear and tear. The full knee-length breeches cinch at the knee with ribbon ties and fasten at the waist with two small snaps.
