The bowls are dip glazed with a white centre and toasted edge. Perfect as salt and pepper serves, snacking or condiment bowls or to keep all your trinkets and jewellery in. How is it made? Each bowl in this set starts off life as a ball of clay. The clay is pinched into a flat bottomed bowl before it is stamped in the centre with a leaf, sun or hare design. After bisque firing the bowl is dipped into two different glazes to give a white centre and toasted edge. Size? Approx. 100mm wide How long will it take for my order to arrive? This item is made to order so the piece will take 3-4 weeks to be made from scratch. If well cared for my pieces can last you a lifetime. Heat in our kilns is well managed and distributed and due to working in a shared studio space our kilns are always fully loaded; making the most of each firing. I do not use toxic materials and all of my glazes are lead free. I also produce very little waste and reclaim all clay off cuts. My packaging is either plastic free or reused materials.
