Pine Needle Tea (Pinus koraiensis Sieb. et Zucc) is a distinctive White Pine herbal infusion and a rare addition to Tea Life’s range. It is wildcrafted from mature trees growing in the Lesser Khingan Mountains in North East China, near the Russia-China border and away from industrial zones. This pine has a long history as a botanical beverage in East Asian herbal culture. The dried needles produce a light, clean cup with fresh pine, resinous evergreen and bright citrus-like notes. Brewing and care • Crush, grind or briefly blend the pine needles before brewing to help water move through their naturally hardy outer coating. • Use 2–3g with hot water, steep for around 10 minutes, then strain before serving. • For a stronger infusion, the tea can also be left to steep for longer or overnight.
