The Pine Raglan Sweatshirt is a classic sweatshirt with a comfortable, oversized fit. The neckband is slightly chunkier than a standard crewneck, giving the sweatshirt a vintage an
d unisex feel. View B has a cropped hem, giving the sweatshirt a more feminine feel. You can choose to make the whole sweatshirt in one fabric or use a rib knit for the neckband, waistband, and cuffs. You will learn: How to sew with knits. How to install neckbands and cuffs. FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONS The pattern is best suited for sweatshirt knits such as French terry and fleece, but you may also use a waffle knit or heavy weight jersey. If you choose to use the same fabric for the main body and the edges, the fabric needs to have at least 50% crossgrain stretch and 3% elastane (or more). If you’re using a rib knit in the neckband, waistband, and cuffs, the main fabric doesn’t need stretch. The rib knit should have at least 3% spandex.
