Fragaria vesca 'Pineapple Crush' A highly productive alpine strawberry, Pineapple Crush fruit are pale yellow when fully ripe and ready to be savored. The fruit is more aromatic than most alpine strawberries, with a flavor that is reminiscent of wild strawberries and pineapple, and sweet. Unusually frost tolerant and disease-resistant. Plants are clumping, producing few to no runners, their day-neutral flowering produces fruit spring through frost. Plant several together to form a patch, or scatter alongside a path or walkway for surprise treats. Sold in a 4" pot.
