Feijoa sellowiana is a drought tolerant, subtropical evergreen shrub that can tolerate regular pruning and can easily be shaped as a hedge, screen, small tree or espaliered. The re cognizable leaves of the Pineapple Guava bush are oval with grey-green leaves and white woolly undersides. Attractive white petals with purple-red interiors surround central tufts of showy, long red stamens. The flowers bloom in late spring-early summer followed by greyish-green pineapple guava fruit.
