Story Our artisan-made vase is covered in picos (spikes) that are representative of the thorns on a Pochote tree. Known as the Mexican “tree of life”, the native Pichote is believe d to connect the underworld to the skies and heavens in ancient indigenous cultures. Created from rich Oaxacan clay, the organic nature of these pieces—they’re 100% hand-formed without the use of a mold—there are no two pieces that are exactly alike.
