Story Our artisan-made vase is covered in picos (spikes) that are representative of the thorns on a Pochote tree. Known as the Mexican “tree of life”, the native Pichote is believed to connect the underworld to the skies and heavens in ancient indigenous cultures. Created from rich Oaxacan clay, the organic nature of these pieces—they’re 100% hand-formed without the use of a mold—there are no two pieces that are exactly alike.
