Pinehurst No. 7 is a bold and challenging course designed by Rees Jones, set on rugged terrain with dramatic elevation changes. Known for its elevated greens, expansive bunkers, an d wetlands—especially on the infamous 7th hole “Devil’s Gut”—it offers a strategic and visually striking experience. With a mountainous feel and a mix of wide fairways and tight approaches, it’s one of Pinehurst Resort’s most distinctive layouts and was the site of Tiger Woods’ 1992 junior championship win.
