Being a child of the 70’s, I’m very drawn to the ping pong bowls that vividly depict 2 pairs of boys and gals playing ping pong. They are so cute and look so virtuous! It wasn’t ti ll much later that I realized these bowls were a product of the 70’s “Ping Pong Diplomacy” which thawed Sino-American relations during the Cold War.
