Pinguicula acuminata is a perennial heterophyllous, producing different leaves in summer and winter. Their leaves are small, compact, and non-carnivorous during winter but grows larger during growing season. Please note that in this species, the entire winter rosette is withdrawn slightly beneath the soil surface (winter bulb). The plants on the pictures are representative, you will get a similar plant. This plant requires a especial soil mix, we strongly suggest that you get the soil bundle from our shop. The plants are shipped bare root in a plastic container to protect the plants. We ship the plants on Monday and Wednesday to avoid the weekend cut off. The plant's size is between 1-1.5" in diameter.
