PRODUCER NOTES:OVERVIEW: “In an unprecedented exploration of the impact of age on whiskey, the Vertical Series follows a group of 1,350 MGP barrels as they age from 4 to 16 years, allowing bourbon lovers to experience the arc of flavors throughout the 13-year journey. The Vertical Series is perhaps the truest expression of Pinhook’s ethos to produce the best whiskey—not the same whiskey—with every vintage.”TASTING: “Blended from just 75 barrels, this year’s Vertical Series Bourbon showcases a deep nose of burnt orange, brioche, butterscotch, and clove, and leads to a rich palate of brandied cherry, salted caramel, candied pecan, and cinnamon stick. (MASHBILL 75% Corn, 20.5% Rye, 4.5% Malted Barley; Proof: 115.9)" Show more
