One of the finest late apples; fruit is medium to large with a sweet-tart flavor and long storage life. Best flavor develops after four weeks in storage. Because of its low chill r equirement and naturally high vigor, Pink Lady® is well adapted to the warm climate across the South. It is so vigorous that it does well even in poor soils and shouldn't be over-fertilized. Good for fresh eating or cooking. Late maturity— mid November. Zones 6–8, one of the best for Zone 8.
