This rare specimen of Pink Natrolite is from Indonesia. You will receive the exact Natrolite crystal pictured. This pink variety, first found in 2020 in Central Java, Indonesia, wa s originally labelled both as Thomsonite, and also as Pink Larimar, due to it's very similar surface patterns. Subsequent testing showed it to actually be a new find of Natrolite, and is also known by the names Rose Natrolite or Rhodatrolite. Natrolite is a member of the Zeolite group, and can usually be found in white needle bursts, somewhat similar to Scolecite, though clear, facetable crystals can be found. It gets its name from 'natron', the Greek for soda in relation to its sodium content. As a mineral, it is used in water purifiers and chemical filters.
