"Pinned to Memory Pinned to Memory centres around a classical image of an angelic child, layered with antique paper and encaustic wax. Vintage porcelain doll fragments, a torso and a single leg, are attached with copper wire and nails, bringing a tactile presence to the composition. A $2.50 ticket adds a sense of quiet story, an invitation, a trace of a moment once lived. Each material holds a history, and together they form a collage of collected objects and subtle emotion.
