Gojer’s “Pinot Nero DOC” is a fruity, elegant and juicy red wine made from 100% Pinot Nero. Following manual harvest, vinification process starts with very delicate and soft pressing. Fermentation process at controlled temperature in steel tanks. Sedimentation and ageing in large wooden casks until bottling, to develop all its characteristics optimally. The appearance shows a deep and seductive ruby colour. On the nose complex aroma of juicy cherries and fresh wild berries, accompanied by subtle notes of pepper, giving the wine an appealing spiciness. On the palate, the wine is both lively and elegant - a harmonious freshness is combined with silky, perfectly integrated tannins. The ageing in large wooden barrels contributes to its finesse, while the subtle toasting beautifully underlines the aroma’s. Food-match: full-bodied, elegant and fruity red, with a distinctive light sour cherry aroma, which goes perfectly well to red meat, venison and light-to-medium cheeses. Recommended serving-temperature of 17°-18°C.
