Pinta is a blend of merino, mulberry silk, and ramie. It has softness and bounce from the merino, sheen and strength from the silk, and extra strength and durability from "nature's nylon" ramie! None of their yarns have any plastic-based fiber content, and they work hard to ensure transparency, traceability, and fair treatment of animals, humans, and the earth. Pinta is made from mulesing-free and RWS-certified merino that comes from Patagonia. The Mulberry Silk content comes from China, and the Ramie comes from Nepal. Everything is spun and dyed in Peru.
