Pinyon is a very solid well-aged shou puerh from the late 1980s. Of course, there is no way to confirm the vintage of such loose-leaf puerh teas other than to compare them to other similar teas and/or trust the information of the vendor or collector we get them from. That said, Pinyon is indeed aged well with nice storage. It is thick and rich with a creamy sweetness and hints of fruit due to the fact that it is quite “tippy,” meaning that there are many buds in the blend.
