Pipeño Blanco – Chilean White Wine from the Itata Valley Rogue Vine Pipeño Blanco is pipeño, Chile's traditional country wine, made as a white field blend of 50% Semillon, 45% Chasselas and 5% Moscatel. The grapes come from a small coastal vineyard in Guarilihue, in the Itata Valley of southern Chile, planted between 1930 and 1950. The vineyard is farmed organically by hand and horse, and the wine is fermented naturally in concrete globes. It is crisp and fresh, made to be enjoyed young and chilled, in a full 1 liter bottle.
