Piper sylvaticum has medium-sized leaves with silver patterning that turns pink under higher light conditions, adding to this rare Piper’s beauty. Native to East India and China, P iper sylvaticum is a tropical, forest-dwelling climber that’s well suited for indoor cultivation, as it tolerates lower light levels and drier conditions. It can be trained on a stake or trellis, or even be encouraged to climb around a window with support.Special Note: Piper plants naturally excrete small, round grains, or growth sugars, on the undersides of the leaves.
