The Piper T1040 (PA-31T3) is a 1980s turboprop commuter airliner combining a Piper Chieftain fuselage with Cheyenne I wings and tail, designed for 11 passengers. Powered by Pratt & Whitney PT6A-11 engines, only 24 were built, making it an extremely rare, specialized commuter variant.
