Pires & Turner Escolha is a Vinho Verde from Quinta de Alvites in Baião, in the south-east of the Vinhos Verdes Demarcated Region, already at the edge of the Douro Valley. It blend s Avesso with a little Loureiro from granite hillside vineyards. Attractive pale yellow, with good aromatic intensity, the fruity character of Avesso lifted by the floral touch of Loureiro. Dry and fresh, medium-bodied and well balanced, with a lively, fruity finish. Lovely with white meats, Italian dishes and cheeses. Serve at 10 to 12°C. Show more
