Original painting on a 16x20 canvas. This painting is from my Zodiac series, where I reimagined each zodiac sign as a unique skull-and-bones composition inspired by its symbolism and element. Every sign features its own distinct skeletal form set against a background representing its elemental nature. Representing the water sign, Pisces, this piece features a fish skull surrounded by two koi fish swimming in opposite directions, reflecting the sign's traditional symbol of two fish bound together in an endless cycle. The flowing, cosmic water background captures Pisces' deep emotional nature, intuition, and dreamlike spirit. While staying true to the skeletal theme of the series, this painting explores the balance between life and mortality, using the fish skull as a reminder that even in endings, beauty and meaning remain.
