Who is this class for? This class is for new shooters who have little to no experience shooting a handgun. There are no prerequisites required. This is a great class whether you are looking to get comfortable with your concealed carry gun, home defense gun, or just want to learn how to shoot for fun or competitive purposes. What To Expect: This is a 4 hour class that starts in the classroom where we will learn firearm safety and how to handle, manipulate, and operate your firearm. From there, we will move to the range and put what we learned in the classroom to practice on the range. You will walk away with a strong foundation of shooting and know how to safely and properly operate your pistol on your own. In this class, you will learn the following: Gun Safety Understanding of how handguns operate How to choose ammo & properly store it Loading/Unloading of your firearm How to dryfire and do it safely How to manipulate your firearm & operate it safely How to build your stance How to grip your pistol How to aim with your iron sights or red dot optic How to pull the trigger without disrupting your sights How to clear malfunctions What you need to bring: (please contact Alyssa at [email protected] if you do not have any piece of gear.
