Each pitcher is handblown and, in our opini on, more rigorous and sturdy than most other carafes. It stands up well to the daily rigors of a coffee shop, including being run through a commercial dishwasher repeatedly. The big carafe has a maximum capacity of 600 mL. We recommend brewing a maximum of 400mL of coffee in this carafe. This little carafe has a maximum capacity of 400 mL.
