The film PITOTO is an attempt to journey into another world. The engravings that inspired artistic imagination are imprints of real deeds and people that the authors of the film tried to create with their imagination. These engravings are located in the Valcamonica Valley in northern Italy (UNESCO-protected sites - Parco Nazionale Delle Incisioni Rupesti, Parco Luine, Parco Nadro, and others). \nThe period of history covered by the film is so vague that Lukáš Prokůpek and his team decided not to leave the interpretation solely to academics. They therefore used the age-old tools for time travel - imagination and playfulness.
