Oh Pittnauer, how we absolutely love you. Since Gerhard and Brigitte Pittnauer took over the winery in Gols, Burgenland (the eastern edge of Austria that borders Hungary) they have truly pushed the boundaries for Austrian wine. This Rosé is absolutely no exception and is a delight of a wine, made predominantly with a blend of native Austrian grapes Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt, plus some splashes of Merlot and Cabernet.
