Wasatch Pixels Quad+ Controller 4-Port Ethernet Pixel Controller (WLED) The Wasatch Quad Plus is an Ethernet-based pixel controller designed to run WLED while supporting high frame rate sequenced shows from xLights and FPP. It provides both local pixel outputs and differential expansion for remote pixel locations. Pixel outputs Local outputs: 4 onboard pixel outputs Supplies both data and power to connected pixels Each output supports up to 5 A Differential outputs: 4 differential data outputs Supports remote pixel strings via compatible differential receivers Remote receivers can be located up to ~300 ft away Total outputs: Up to 8 pixel outputs (4 local + 4 remote via differential receivers) Supported pixel protocols WS2811 WS2812 WS2815 Other compatible SPI-based pixel protocols Performance guidelines Recommended maximum pixels per output: ~400 pixels @ 40 FPS ~800 pixels @ 20 FPS Power distribution Integrated fused power distribution on board 12V controller design No external power distribution board required for most installations Each output fused up to 5 A Note: While the onboard regulator components are rated up to 25V, this controller is sold as a 12V version. Use with higher-voltage pixel systems requires appropriate thermal considerations. Control and software Preinstalled with WLED Compatible with: xLights Falcon Player (FPP) E1.31 and DDP input Supports control via WLED web UI and mobile apps Connectivity Ethernet: Built-in (ESP32 WT32-ETH01 based) Hardware details ESP32-based controller with onboard level shifting 3.3V logic shifted to 5V for pixel data reliability Phoenix-style screw terminals for power and pixel connections Typical use cases Permanent house outlines Permanent landscape lighting Medium-sized pixel installations Installations requiring WLED with Ethernet reliability Displays with remote pixel locations using differential receivers Notes Differential receiver required for remote outputs (sold separately) Compatible with standard differential receivers (Falcon, Kulp, Experience Lights, etc.) WLED is open-source software distributed under the MIT License
