While exploring the Kootenays in B.C. early this fall, I found this gorgeous secluded spot in the forest and was overtaken by the urge to capture it in paint! I set my wood panel right on the forest floor, while blanketed in warm dappled sunlight, the sound of flowing water in the distance, the scent of fresh pine swirling through the breeze...
