At 20.4 microns, this fiber is oh so soft and has great loft! Our 20.4 micron US Shaniko wool fiber has the softness of Merino wool but with a longer staple length, making it an easier introduction to fine wools for handspinning. Shaniko wool is an excellent choice for next-to-the-skin garments. This wool is non-superwashed and can be used for felting.
