The PL planter by Annette Lantsoght for Atelier Vierkant is a study in considered restraint. Low-profile and circular, its form is drawn from the language of the earth itself, shap ed by hand in Belgium from raw clay that carries the subtle marks of its making. Atelier Vierkant works exclusively with natural clay bodies, fired to reveal a surface that shifts between matte and mineral depending on the light. No two pieces are identical. The variation is the point: a record of craft, not a deviation from it. Designed for outdoor environments, the PL reads equally well as a solitary object and as one element within a composed arrangement. Its neutral palette holds a dialogue with stone, timber, water, and foliage without competing with any of them.
