Our Morea placemat is inspired by the frescoes found in the Pantanassa monastery of Mystras. A UNESCO World Heritage site located on the slopes of Mount Taygetus, Mystras was the c apital of the Despotate of the Morea. The Pantanassa monastery is the only monastery in Mystras that is still in use and inhabited by nuns who are famous for their hospitality.
