Only full grain leather is used in making these placemats and matching coasters. We do not use fake "leather" like you commonly see in the marketplace - which is nothing more than plastic. Just like leather car seats, our leather placemats are quite resilient to spills and can be easily wiped clean with a damp sponge (minimal water required). Made from 2mm thick Italian leather or super thick 4mm tumbled leather (upon request) 4mm Placemats are $100 each and generously sized at 40cm x 30cm (Rectangular) or 31cm diameter (round). All placemats come with matching coasters Stamped in the right bottom corner with a subtle Anvil Hide logo (rectangular), if you do not want a stamp please let me know via the "notes" box on the cart page. The Round placemats do not come with an Anvil Hide logo unless specifically requested. How to clean: Wipe clean with a damp cloth only. Dry plates before setting on placemats.Do NOT let water sit or pool on your placemats for any length of time. Do not submerge in water.
