Looking for something more casual and fun? How about a whole galaxy of stones! This necklace features a beaded portion with the nine planets (Pluto is classified as a dwarf planet so it still counts). Mercury is hematite, Venus is grey labradorite, Earth is apatite, Mars is pink tourmaline, Jupiter is fire opal, Saturn is tiger's eye, Uranus is larimar, Neptune is blue labradorite, and Pluto is onyx. The planets' section of the necklace is 8" long. The planets are not to scale - if Mercury were a 4mm bead, proportionally Jupiter would be the size of a grapefruit and the necklace length would be about three miles in length.
