PlaniglobenAn attractive and interesting map of the world with fine surrounding vignettes. While most decorative maps feature vignettes which are long on drama and short on accurac y, this is a map with substantive complimentary images. Shows at top a scene of the men of the different continents in native garb (African, Australian, European, American, Asian), then features notable animals per each continent all drawn with great care, then regional vegetation. At the bottom are two environmental scenes and more animals, specifically those found in Africa, America and Australia. Condition is good, though there is some repair to the centerfold, and some misfolding and marginal staining. Image size is 13.5 x 18.25 (inches). Show more
