Creating a Natural Forest The Caledonian Forest is a rich ecosystem made up of over 30 native tree species. Your tree will be a locally grown sapling, selected to thrive in the environment. Possible species include: Alder Aspen Birch Bird Cherry Hazel Holly Rowan Scots Pine Willow To maintain the integrity of this wild landscape, trees are planted sporadically to mimic natural distribution, and no individual trees are marked or labelled.
