An avenue of oaks in black and white, straight down the road.Taking the color out puts all the weight on the moss, and there is a great deal of it — hanging in thick curtains from every limb, layered back on both sides until the canopy reads as tone rather than as leaves. The trunks go near-black. The road runs bright down the middle to a small pale opening at the far end, and it is the brightest thing in the frame by some distance.Black, white, and one strong line down the center.
