Like the majority of our ingredients, these roots grew in the bright sun, soaked in the rain, were pollinated by insects, made it through a full growing season and then had lots-of-human-hands-on to complete their destiny. Within a day of harvest, the root juices are extracted sprayed onto a carrier medium (maltodextrin or acacia gum), dried and milled microfine. They get tested for purity and then shipped to us for blending into our (your) balms.
