Warm sand and soft cream with a single concentrated passage of raw sienna and dark umber running down the upper left — the quietest piece in The Plaster Works. Most of the surface is open and barely there: thin plaster texture, subtle cracking, faint tonal shifts between tan and warm white. All the visual weight gathers in one area and then lets go.
