Incentive Create printed flowers by using the base pattern from a plastic drink bottle. -Line-Shape-Space-Colour Supplies Art paper Paint Paintbrush Tray, paper plate or sponge Pla stic drink bottle (any size but one which has a patterned indents on the base) Lesson 1 Paint background by applying yellow and blue paint across the art paper. 2 Place one or two bright contrasting colours on a sponge or paper plate or tray. 3 Dip base of drink bottle in the paint and print onto painted background. Repeat this as many times as you wish. If you wish to have two colours on your flowers turn bottle slightly to reprint on the existing flower with the second colour. 4 This is a great activity for young children. Older children could paint long branches and then print blossoms all over the branches. 5 Display on a background the same colour as the printed flowers. Show more
