The platform seat fits in sliders on a flat platform that bridges the curvature of the floor of the hull, and is secured in length using two thumbscrews. It is ideal for racing on deep water. The seat is able to be adjusted fore and aft and also for height. This low back is the standard version and now has a gently rolled back edge for comfort. We can provide a lowered version of this seat which has low profile runners and is approximately 10mm closer to the hull. This version has two height options compared to the five on the standard seat. Please note that it is possible that the seat pan may need trimming at the sides when set at very low positions in our fastest/narrowest boats and in the Kirton Bolt.
