Preloved Platner Coffee Table by Knoll Designer: Warren Platner Brand: Knoll An enduring icon of modern design, the Platner Coffee Table embodies both structure and sculpture. Orig inally introduced in 1966, Warren Platner’s visionary collection for Knoll brought a softer, more decorative sensibility to the modernist movement—capturing the “decorative, gentle, graceful” forms that defined a new era of interior design. The base is finished in polished nickel (or metallic bronze), producing a luminous effect that balances strength and delicacy. With its airy transparency and sculptural integrity, the Platner Table effortlessly becomes the focal point of any refined living space—equally at home in a mid-century modern interior or a contemporary design setting.
