Description Platycerium Ginka is a distinctive staghorn fern admired for its bold, ornamental form. Its broad fronds are shaped much like those of the ginkgo tree, which inspired the name “Ginka.” As an epiphytic fern, it naturally grows attached to trees or supports in tropical habitats, drawing moisture and nutrients from the air rather than soil. Growing condition Temperature: Ideal temperature range: 10°C – 30°C. Best grown in warm, stable conditions protected from frost. Water: Use rainwater, distilled water, or RO water where possible. Keep mounting medium lightly moist, allowing it to dry slightly between waterings. Avoid prolonged dryness or waterlogging. Light: Prefers bright, indirect light or filtered shade.
