Plaud Note is a professional-grade AI note-taking device designed for busy meetings, calls, and on-the-go capture. It records audio via its hardware, then uses powerful AI models (e.g., GPT-5.1, Claude Sonnet 4, Gemini 3 Pro) to perform two core functions: Transcription: Captures speech and converts it into text; supports many languages (112 supported). Summarization & extraction: After transcription, the system identifies key information, action items, and decisions, and generates usable summaries. It features dual recording modes: for phone calls and for in-person meetings. For example, one-press recording for calls, high-capacity storage (64 GB), long standby, and dedicated hardware. Workflow: You record the audio using the device. Audio is stored locally on the device first (giving you more control, especially for sensitive content). Later, it syncs to Plaud App, where AI processing happens (transcription & summarization). You can export, review, and search your notes and transcripts across devices. Special advantage: Because it’s hardware and app integrated, it doesn’t rely solely on your phone's mic. It’s designed for meeting environments where audio quality matters and distractions need to be minimized. How to record a phone call on iPhone with Plaud Note?
