Syrtis is a well-aged 2019 Plavac Mali from the Volarević family — a polished Dalmatian red that shows what Croatia's signature grape looks like with a few years of bottle developm ent behind it. Deep ruby-garnet in the glass, with evolved aromas of ripe dark cherries, dried figs, leather and the subtle spice of well-integrated oak. Full-bodied and structured, with soft tannins and a long, savoury finish. A natural match for roasted lamb, game, aged hard cheeses and all the bold, slow-cooked flavours of the Dalmatian table.
