However, even as the players score points individually and cooperatively for finding their toys, the Night Terror scores for their failures, and the ability to guess who did or didn't peek. A ridiculous and unique ritual of the senses, Playthings asks if players are smart enough to deduce from very little, or are brave enough to feign ignorance as they watched the Night Terror commit its deeds.
