Wood wicks and approximately 40 hours of burn time. Once you are done burning the candle just rinse off crystals with warm water and mild soap and keep crystals for your collections. :) CANDLE CARE INSTRUCTIONS Keep your wick trimmed to 1/4". The wick is already set. To do this after the first burn, use a tissue to break off the burned wood. This should break off easily. Trim wick after every burn. Never let your candle burn for more than 4 hrs. After 4 hrs the wick needs to be trimmed and may discolor the wax or cause it to not burn as long. It's best to light wood wicks from the base of the wick, if you find that it is not staying lit. MOST IMPORTANTLY! - To get full burn time, the wax must be melted to the edge of the jar every time. Especially the first! This can take up to 3 hrs. If the wax is not fully melted to the edge its unlikely to melt on subsequent burns. Leaving your candle prone to tunneling and a shortened burn time due to soy wax memory. DO NOT burn more than one candle at a time in a room. You may experience “Frosting”. Frosting is a white coating on the top or side of your candle. this is a natural evolution of soy as it is exposed to air, humidity and other elements. This does not affect your candle.
